Make a powerful,
life-changing gesture by including Camp Breakaway in your Will. Your generosity will help us continue our vital work for people with a disability.
Camp Breakaway has been supporting people with a disability since 1982. Every day, we work hard to drive change in the community. We shift attitudes, improve inclusion and access, and advocate for disability rights — so more people can achieve their goals, and live their lives as enabled and equal citizens.
You can help us continue this important work. By including a gift in your Will to Camp Breakaway, you’re helping us continue with today’s efforts and ensure we can provide meaningful support for future generations, too. No matter how small, your legacy will help make a difference.
There are many ways in which you can leave a gift in your Will to Camp Breakaway. After you’ve cared for your loved ones, you could consider leaving a gift in the form of:
- The residue of your estate after expenses
- A fixed percentage of your estate
- A specific sum of money
- A specific item such as a share portfolio, jewellery or artwork
It’s important to get the wording right in your Will. We recommend that you speak with your solicitor or lawyer before you commit to anything.
As a guide, though, you could include wording like:
- “I give to Camp Breakaway Inc (ABN 33 386 918 996), the residue of my estate to be used for its general purposes. The receipt of an authorised officer or treasurer of Camp Breakaway Inc will be sufficient discharge for my executors.”
- “I give to Camp Breakaway Inc (ABN 33 386 918 996) a ____% share of my estate to be used for its general purposes. The receipt of an authorised officer or treasurer of Camp Breakaway Inc will be sufficient discharge for my executors.”
- “I give to Camp Breakaway Inc (ABN 33 386 918 996) the sum of $_____ to be used for its general purposes. The receipt of an authorised officer or treasurer of Camp Breakaway Inc will be sufficient discharge for my executors.”
Leaving a gift in your Will is a very personal matter. If you’re planning to include Camp Breakaway in your Will, please get in touch to let us know. This gives us a chance to show you the impact of your generosity and thank you personally.

The information and the attached wording are intended as a guide only. Camp Breakaway strongly recommends that you consult your legal adviser before drafting a new Will or updating an existing one. Your lawyer can make all the necessary enquiries to make sure your specific circumstances are taken into account and that your estate is left to the persons or entities you want to benefit.
