Just being there for a person with a disability is a great way to make an impact, letting them know you’re there if they need anything and make sure you’re around to show them you care, even the smallest things can make a huge difference.
Disability does not define our clients it is just a part of their lives. The most important thing for making a difference in their life is to be understanding of what they may need differently – but more importantly, to treat them as though they were anyone else!
Our loving and caring staff and volunteers are who we are, they are the heart and soul of Breakaway.
