The role is to assist Camp Breakaway to secure value in our purchasing decisions when buying or replacing assets and equipment to improve our infrastructure.
To consult with users and identify specifications that purchases must meet. To source product options and compare quality and value for money propositions against the agreed specifications. To update supplier/vendor database including contact information, service agreements and warranty periods. To support and or provide recommendations on best practice purchasing. To communicate with internal stakeholders regarding purchasing decisions.
Analytical and methodical in approach. Attention to detail. Negotiating skills. Computer literacy and database skills. Relevant experience would be an advantage.
Regular – more than 3 months
Time Required: Monday to Friday (P/T considered)
Training: Induction and on the job training
Transport: Bus options available but limited. Own transport preferred parking is available on-site.
